Dear Friends:

Your donation is completely tax-deductible through this nonprofit organization - and goes directly towards my treatment.

Dorothy Finkelstein, watercolor artist, avid gardener, mother of three, grandmother to four and great-grandmother to two, was diagnosed with stage lllA non-small cell lung cancer in March of 2009. Initially she chose to take traditional cancer therapy, which consisted of two treatments of chemotherapy and thirty-five treatments of radiation. Her treatment period took place over an extended period of time due to severe side effects of the chemotherapy, which hospitalized her for fifteen days. At the completion of this treatment the cancer had metastasized to stage lllB/lV and she was given the option of continuing palliative chemo treatment or doing nothing. She chose to discontinue traditional treatment and seek alternative treatments to extend her life. Her immune system was severely depressed so the initial alternative treatments were aimed at restoring her body’s ability to fight the cancer. After her lab results indicated that her levels were in the normal range, she began insulin-potentiated treatment (IPT). There are signs of improvement in her general health and stamina. None of the treatment regimen is covered by insurance and costs are extremely high. Please help by contributing to a tax-deductible fund that will be used to defray these large expenses.
