Hello! My name is Betty Clayborne, also known as Bala Mawiyah. I am a Life Coach, and I specialize in helping individuals to attain self mastery; I live in California, and I am a walking miracle!
Miracles never cease!! My life is a testament to that, as I have had miracle after miracle unfold during my 3 year journey with ovarian cancer. In August, 2006 my initial diagnoses was stage 4, and I was not expected to survive, but I did.
Again in February, 2009 I was confronted with this disease, and through my faith in God, divine intervention, and the love and support of family and friends, I am still on planet earth letting my light shine and eager to do my share to make this world a better place.
According to statistics, ovarian cancer is the deadliest of gynecologic cancers with a survival rate each year of less that 1/3. President Obama's mother died from ovarian cancer. Yet, in spite of statistics, there still is not a definitive test to detect it. Its symptoms are easily missed and or misdiagnosed: Bloating, Frequent urination, Feeling full and Abdominal pain.
As time goes on, treatment options can become more narrow. When conventional chemotherapy is used over time, it takes a toll on the immune system leading to complications and sometimes death not from the cancer, but from the chemotherapy itself.
For 6 months traditional chemotherapy was working for me. In fact, my cancer marker test (CA 125) results got within 6 points of normal range. Then something happened: the cancer cells became resistant to the traditional chemotherapy. The doctor switched drugs and my CA 125 rose even further away from normal and now many of my initial symptoms have reappeared.
I just knew that there had to be a better way, and there is. Insulin Potentiation Targeted LowDose™ (IPTLD™) Therapy is a form of low-dose therapy for cancer and chronic disease that has been used in other parts of the world since 1946. With this therapy only the cancer cells receive chemotherapy, and the healthy cells do not. It targets the cancer cells but protects the healthy cells, requiring less chemo (about 1/10 of the conventional dose each time). Doctors use special tests to select the best chemotherapy drugs whereby the malignant cells do not become resistant to the chemotherapy. Read more here.
