Hello All,
As you know I had a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma September 2008. Because I already have a weak immune system ( I do not make enough antibodies to fight infection I also have a primary immune problem) my haematologist told me he had no treatment which would not make me very ill.
Well we went to a wonderful clinic in Vienna for IPCT treatment and everything so far is really good. My Bad cancer count is lower and stable. My blood results are nearly that of a normal person and still improving. This is really excellent for a person with my diagnosis over one year on.
I saw my heamalogist yesterday. I cannot get this treatment in the UK nobody does it here, although my doctor says he would have to seriously think about doing it if my results continue to improve.
So please could you help me to raise the funds to have some more treatment. It is not often we can convert a doctor who could change the lives of thousands of people he treats many people for blood cancers. He is still a little skeptical but I believe he is a man of his word, and I would like to show him this can and will work.
