Michael
Short
Michael Short, Alaskan fisherman and contractor, father of two, was diagnosed in March of 2008 with esophageal cancer that had metastasized to his lung. He was given 0% chance of survival and only six months to live…he was told there was no hope. And that would have been true with conventional treatment.
Instead, he went searching for a miracle for stage four cancer. He and his friend Judy researched intensely for three weeks, read 65 cancer survival stories, interviewed a medical researcher, and requested prayer. During that time they decided on what protocols to use. Then they researched a doctor who could provide IPT (Insulin Potentiated Chemo-Therapy), Vitamin C, Ozone, and DMSO along with building his immune system and detoxing his body.
It's been a year and a half and Michael has been doing well...until mercury poisoning devastated his immune system and allowed cancer to return. Financially there’s nothing left, and he needs further IPT treatments. He’s a proud man who has difficulty asking for help…but he needs help. Anything would make a difference.
Michael wants to return to Alaska and build remote cabins, as he’s done in the past. He’s currently working on a book about his experience with cancer, Knocking on Heaven’s Door. He’s focusing on the treatments and healthy living…and he needs support in doing that.
