Dear Friends: Your donation is completely tax-deductible through this nonprofit organization - and goes directly towards my treatment.
I am a 55 year old citizen of Panama , living in Panama City , Panama . I was born in Panama in 1952, attended Javier High School until 1969, and have university degrees in economics (University of Syracuse, 1974) and business administration (University of Oklahoma, 1981). I have devoted most of my life to teaching and research at the University of Panama , and am the author of several short essays and articles on economic and financial issues.
I thought my diet was healthy but it was not -- it was loaded with sugar, fried foodstuffs, and junk food. I did not get enough sun light or exercise. And I allowed stress and negative emotions to overtake me for too long. Result was a colon cancer outbreak -- I was so diagnosed in late 2006, following a colonoscopy. I tried and followed a "natural" therapy, radically switching my lifestyle, and taking up a diet centered on raw vegetables, the omega-3 group of poly-unsaturated fatty acids, several herbs (such as aloe vera, Essiac tea, anamu, transfer factor plus, and others); sun baths, exercise, and a relaxed, positive mental attitude. All of this apparently slowed down cancer growth but did not stop it. In mid 2008 I began suffering from severe bowel irregularities, bleeding and intense pain. I lost weight and became weak. My CEA tumor score jumped to 10 units (in October it again increased to 20 units) and a CT scan revealed that my liver was being invaded as well. My oncologist prescribed conventional concentrated chemotherapy, but I fear side effects, which may kill me. I then found the IPT alternative, but I it is not practiced in Panama , where the Social Security only covers conventional chemotherapy. I would have to go to Tijuana , Mexico to obtain it, but I cannot afford it. My Treatment cost is $25,000 and I have not found either relatives or friends who are either capable or willing to lend me the funds. And I am running out of time. Please help me.
